Prestigious scholarship to the vocal group DAIS
On Saturday evening, the singing group DAIS received the Kaggen scholarship.
The Kaggen Scholarship was established in 1986 and is awarded annually by Orphei Drängar to persons “who, through active vocal efforts, arrangements or in other ways, have endeavoured to sing in small groups”.
The jury’s motivation reads: “With relaxed perfection, innovative arrangements and a shimmering sound, they show the way for tomorrow’s vocal group music.”
DAIS consists of:
Lisen Thersthol, Elsa Sundin, Julia Malmén, Teodor Wennö, Oscar Nilsson
